Qualifications:
- Active TVI License through TEA is required
- Prior experience as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired preferred
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of IEP/IFSP plans, including setting goals, modifications, and identifying individual learning styles
- Interpret eye medical reports for students on your caseload
- Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments for new referrals and three-year evaluations
- Obtain and administer (or assist with) modified standardized testing materials such as NAPT, ITBS, TAAS, SAT, and ACT
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students to support their educational goals
