Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Florida TVI License
- Mandatory Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) Certification
- Experience in schools is highly valued, though not required
- Solid background in student testing and screenings
- Comfortable providing both direct and indirect services for K-12 students
- Ability to travel between schools, offering support district-wide (serving approximately 15–20 students)
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as an itinerant TVI, supporting 13 schools with a caseload of approximately 22 students
- Conduct student screenings and assessments as required
- Deliver direct instruction and indirect consultative services based on student needs
- Collaborate with staff, families, and district personnel to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate documentation, participate in meetings, and support IEP development
