Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid California license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology
- Meet state regulations requiring formal credentials, degrees, or industry certifications in assistive technology
- Demonstrated prior experience in a school-based setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and accessible learning spaces
Role Highlights and Expectations:
- Deliver direct assistive technology services to K-12 students at various onsite locations
- Assess, recommend, implement, and monitor assistive technology solutions tailored to individual student needs
- Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop strategies for integrating AT into IEPs and instructional plans
- Provide training and ongoing support to educators and families regarding effective use of assistive technology
- Document service delivery and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Rotate between campuses as needed to maximize access and impact for students
