Qualifications:
- Valid DOE Certification
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired (required for remote consideration)
- Proficient with Braille and Assistive Technology (Federal Quota program experience is a plus)
- Experience with K-12+ caseloads, including general and special education
- Familiarity with Chrome devices and the TN Pulse platform for IEPs
- Completion of required fingerprinting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver services as an Itinerant TVI to students in multiple school sites (schedule/locations TBD)
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students in general and special education classrooms
- Ensure appropriate access to assistive technology
