Key Skills & Experience:
- Valid DOE certification required

- Comfortable working itinerantly in both general education and specialized classrooms with diverse needs (including students with multiple disabilities)
- Ability to travel between assigned schools; schedules are designed to minimize commute
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional support and consultative services to visually impaired students across elementary, middle, and high schools
- Develop, adapt, and implement accessible instructional materials and assessments using Braille, large print, and/or technology as needed
- Serve as an integral participant in IEP meetings, maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports through the TN Pulse platform
- Guide and collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff, fostering an inclusive environment for students
- Utilize Chromebooks and other district technology in instructional delivery
